Coming Fall '07, Backcountry Cowboy Outfitters is 'invading' the Everglades by kayak and we want you to join us! By customer demand, we've decided to launch Adventure trips and Day trips into Everglades National Park. As an Everglades National Park authorized tour company, we'll offer first quality, 'once in a lifetime trips' that will be the talk of your family reunions, office co-workers and neighbors alike.

Our trip offerings will include a few different length options. We hope to be able to offer a trip that will fit the majority of our paddlers needs.

Within Everglades National Park, there is an inland water route that consists of almost 100 miles from the northwest corner of Everglades National Park (Everglades City, FL) to the very southern tip of the Florida peninsula (Flamingo), that waterway is called the 'Wilderness Waterway'.

Our adventure trips will range from a 3 day/2 night to a full 'Wilderness Waterway' trip of 6 day/5 nights.

With over 40 different campsites, and countless potential of natural encounters, Everglades National Park is a paddler's dream destination. We'll decide as a group, what type of sites are preferred (Chickee, Ground or Beach sites) and try to build the route around your desires.

What's included
All of our adventure trip pricing will include the following: ENP camping permits, kayaks, paddles (graphite), PFD's (life vests), tents, ground mattresses, camp stoves/fuel, headlamps/lighting, ENP charts, dry bags/boxes, some group meals, safety equipment and of course, your guide service.

Safety / Peace of mind
Our guides are truly Everglades naturalists, First Aid/CPR trained and feel right at home in the Everglades wilderness! All guides are equipped with GPS and Satellite telephones (for emergencies only). Regardless of the trip location and length, Safety, is and will be our primary goal. With no exceptions, PFD's (life vests) will be worn by everybody at all times we're on the water! It's pretty simple.

Come along as we explore the Everglades on our day trips. This is a guided, 3/4 day paddle where we do all the work and your opportunity to kayak in the 3rd largest National Park in the United States comes true!

We've discovered that many people want to kayak in the Everglades but for many reasons they have not been able to. While either living here in South Florida or on vacation here in the Florida Keys, we'll transport our kayaks and gear from our Islamorada location to one of many launch sites within Everglades National Park for an enjoyable and eye opening experience to such a diverse eco-system, we promise, you won't soon forget.

What's included
All of our day trips include the following: kayak, paddle, PFD (life vest), transporting of gear, Everglades Park admission, safety equipment, and guide service.

Safety / peace of mind
All of our guides are First-aid/CPR qualified, are equipped with GPS and Satellite Phones (for emergencies only). With no exceptions, all paddlers will be required to wear PFD's (life vest) at all times while on the water.
